Let's deep fry!!

Well your know those days when you have left over soft grain, and it just doesn't look appetizing anymore, what do you do with all of it.........Deep Fry It!

Yesterday we had all that yummy soft millet! But not all of it got eaten..so we made yummy deep fried millet nuggets!
Add some millet flour to the grain (or what ever kind of flour you like)
Just enough to make a thick batter.. And deep fry until dark golden!!



We also had a hatomugi barley porridge (I love porridge)
With sweet vegetables, like onions, and carrots, and squash (some times corn when we have it)

And some nice sautéed kale.
