Three Days and Wedding Food!

 Ok so wow! this was a very fun amazing busy week!

We started off with a wedding party and we had

Salad Bar 
with
Noodles
Cucumbers
Tomatoes
Olives
Corn and Peas
Chips and Salasa
Guacamole
Fried Seitan
Potato Salad
Bread Sticks
(and probobly some other stuff I don't remember I am so sorry)

Sesame Shitaki Dressing

Tahini Dill Dressing
-
a little Champagne 
-
Dessert was Strawberry Short Cake 




Then we all woke up the next morning to start our three day course with Warren Kramer who is a very good Macrobiotics Teacher!!
He included two cooking classes!He tried to fit as many diffrent cooking styles into two cooking classes, so there is a lot of food on those meals.
 he is such a great cook. 
we have had him up here a couple of times and always enjoy getting a refresher on Macrobiotics!

Day 1
For lunch
Millet with Umeboshi

Hijiki sauteed with Onions, Carrots, Broccoli Stems and Tahini

Blanched Kale

Adzuki Bean Soup

Pressed Salad with a Tahini Sauce

Blanched Vegetable Salad

Sauteed Spring Mix

Miso Soup with Mochi

 



 Day 2

For Lunch
Vegetable Fried Rice

Radish Mustard Umeboshi Pickle/Salad

Blanched Broccoli Rab 
-
Clear Broth Soup with Watercress as Garnish

Sweet Vegetable Millet

Fried Kidney Beans with Onions, Carrots, Celery,Garlic

Steamed Kale

Tempura Squash, Broccoli

Squash, Onions, Parsnip Puree Soup 
with Nori Strips
 



Day 3

For Lunch
Brown Rice

Sweet Brown Rice Ohagies with Pecans

Pressed Salad with Cucumbers

Sauteed Hijiki with Carrots and Onions

Blanched Broccoli

Split Pea Soup
