So today is the last day of this "Food Game" and it has been interesting! What I got out of it, is that it made food simple, I didn't think about all the snacks I wanted to make, and Chewing became easier, and I got into cooking more and that's always fun!...so that was nice but I am looking forward to making myself some Pasta tomorrow!! ;) 

Yesterday For lunch we had

Blanched Kale and Broccoli

Nituke vegetables!

So we have all these new people arriving at the community lately and so the number of people that we have been cooking for is going up! we are making so much Food!!

I have three meals in this post because we went hiking and just had rice balls for lunch ( I did not photograph)  and then we came back and had......

Deja vu much!? Well I think we just had the exact same meal for lunch that we had a couple of days ago! but it still came out realy pretty!

For dinner we kept it kind of simple

Brown rice (a little bit softer then lunches)

Ground seed butter

Umeboshi sauteed Cabbage

I am still trying to figure out this new camera and this blog and how I want to set it all up...but I am having fun doing so will see!

Yesterday for lunch

Barley Rice with Red Quinoa.

Onion Shoyu Pickles.

Hijiki with Daikon and Carrots.

Sauteed Parsley.

Some times I have this feeling of "wrong weather for the food."  

like having a hot heavy Seitan stew in 90 degree weather (hardly ever happens in Alaska so don't have to worry about that one!;)

Or Salad on a cold day!

This really came out good, I just was to cold to appreciate it (so I ate it later)
